In Cambridge, Vermont (and in all the other towns along the Green Mountain Byway) we embrace WINTER! There are so many things to see and do on & off the snow. Smugglers’ Notch Resort offers downhill skiing and snowboarding, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, winter walking, and many other amenities. The Lamoille Valley Rail Trail is also a great place to cross country ski, snowshoe, and enjoy winter walking, as well as riding a snowmobile (aka snowmachine-in’ or just plain “sheenin'”).

You don’t have to ride down a mountain or trail on planks, you stay in the comfort of your automobile. Drive through Jeffersonville, Cambridge, and along the Byway and visit the local shops and admire the holiday lights. Or, take the back roads and discover old barns & houses, stone walls, and more winter scenery.

You too can embrace the Wonder of Winter.
