There are plenty of covered bridges to see along the Green Mountain Byway, from the Gold Brook – aka Emily’s Bridge in Stowe to the Grist Mill Covered Bridge – aka Little Canyon Bridge – in Jeffersonville. To bridge the information gap, visit the Vermont Covered Bridge Society – they have you covered!
Vermont is rightly famous for its colorful autumn leaves – mainly due to our abundance of maple trees (we’re also famous for our maple syrup, but that’s another story for another blog post). If you’re driving through the state in September or early October, its beautiful no matter what.
