There are over 100 Covered Bridges in Vermont! Every town along the Green Mountain Byway has covered bridges. Perhaps the most famous one is a haunted one – Emily’s Bridge, aka Gold Brook/Stowe Hollow Bridge in Stowe. Other popular bridges include the Red/Sterling Bridge in Morristown, and the Powerhouse/School Street Bridge in Johnson. Sometimes they are in plain sight, sometimes they’re hidden on a back road. Maybe you’ll discover a few when you travel the Green Mountain Byway.
