Historic Cambridge Village

Oct 8, 2023 | Along the Byway

The Cambridge Historical Society recently hosted a Cambridge History Walk. From the 1790s until today, the Village has been a commercial center. Over the years it has boasted grist mills, saw mills, a community hall, a school, a creamery, an Ice Cream Parlor, two general stores, three churches, and more!

Today the Village is applying for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places, and the Walk was part of the application process. The hope is that the Walk becomes an annual event.
